Leondrae Ridley was identified by family as the Tennessee father of five killed in a South Nashville shooting Wednesday morning.
Family members confirmed to reporters that Ridley died after being found shot in a driveway along Flora Maxwell Rd.

Ridley’s wife said he was the father to five children, ages 5, 6, 10, 11 and 13. She said Ridley recently graduated from truck driving school, in an effort to provide a better life for his family. Police said Ridley’s friend was also shot overnight. That man arrived at Southern Hills hospital with gunshot wounds to his wrist and shoulder. The vehicle that person arrived in had a window shot out.

There’s no word on a motive and the investigation is ongoing.
