SIOUX FALLS, SD. (THECOUNT) — Tyler Tessier, the man accused of killing his pregnant girlfriend, Laura Wallen, has been found dead in his jail cell on the day that jury selection for his trial was scheduled to begin.
Tessier, 32, was found dead of apparent suicide around 5:10 a.m. Thursday in his cell at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in Rockville, Maryland, according to News4.

On September 9th, Investigators located the vehicle belonging to the Maryland high school teacher.
Laura Elizabeth Wallen’s black 2011 Ford Escape was discovered Thursday evening in Howard County at an apartment complex in the 10600 block of Gramercy Place in Columbia. The apartment complex is less than a five-minute drive from Wilde Lake High School, where Wallen, 31, teaches in the Social Studies department, according to the school’s website. source
Police said they have arrested a suspect in the case.
