GANG WAR ON BLAST: Rapper “VilleBoy Ant” SHOT DEAD Outside Norfolk VA Days Inn

Rapper VilleBoy Ant, aka, Anthony M. Sinclair, was identified as the man found shot dead outside a Days Inn motel in Norfolk, VA.

Norfolk Police found Sinclair, 18, dead after responding to a call of shots fired at the motel. The killing has sent shockwaves throughout the rap and hip hop communities.

Police say they received the call from a Days Inn motel on North Military Highway near Princess Anne Road around 1 a.m. As officers were heading to the scene, they got information that there was a person who had been shot. When they showed up at the motel, they found a man outside. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. source

It is feared Sinclair’s killing will cause a major ramp-up in an ongoing gang war.

Last year, Sinclair was part of a gang feud fueled by rap videos and Facebook taunts. The lyrical barbs helped escalate tensions between neighborhoods like Huntersville, Young Terrace and Calvert Square and those south of the Elizabeth River – Berkley, Campostella and Diggs Town.

The feud helped make 2016 Norfolk’s deadliest year in nearly a decade, with 48 homicides, including five fatal police shootings. source

Officers are investigating this case as a homicide.
