Local Detroit rappers, Domonique Brown and Ramell Carter are dead following a shooting on I-94 Sunday morning, reports the Michigan State Police.
Witnesses to the shooting say at least 30 shots were fired in the fatal shooting of the rap artists, who were both 27.
Police say at approximately 2:45 a.m. Sunday they responded to a report of a vehicle on the median shoulder in the area of eastbound I-94 and Livernois. Once on-scene, police determined that both occupants were deceased, having been killed by gunfire. MSP and Detroit police secured the scene and closed the freeway which remain closed for many hours Sunday morning. Police at this time it has been determined that multiple shots were fired over a stretch of I-94, leading to where the victim vehicle came to rest near Livernois. source
The victims have been identified by the Wayne County Medical Examiner’s office Brown and Carter. Their cause of death is still under investigation.

Dead at 27. Seems to be the magical number in the music business. This was a hit. They need to start solving these crimes. We need to get murderers off the streets permanently.
