Pictured is Kentucky mother of two, Stephanie Wagner, who was killed in a hit and run crash in Hopkinsville Sunday night.
Wagner, 33, was seated on the trunk of a vehicle when another vehicle, driven by, Sherita Thomas, 29, crashed into her. Thomas then left the scene. The crash occurred on East 4th Street around 10:30 p.m.
Wagner was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead.
Thomas taken into custody a short time later and charged with murder, tampering with evidence, DUI and leaving the scene of the crash.
