Blake Escamilla has been named as the man killed in a crash Thursday morning on Highway 275 near Highway 36, the Nebraska State Patrol confirmed.
Escamilla 24, of Fremont, was traveling on Highway 275 between Valley and Fremont at about 6:20 a.m. when the fatal crash occurred.
An investigation revealed that a 18-wheeler collided with the motorcycle west on Highway 275. Escamilla was pronounced dead at the scene.
Law enforcement officials blocked off roads in the area to traffic during the investigation.
Escamilla’s cousin, Amanda Parsons, was “feeling heartbroken” when she expressed her condolences on Facebook:
“A cousin is one of your first friends in life…..you my dear are in all of our heart and on all of our minds…god takes the good ones to early in life.. praying for you and miss little and all of his family and friends involved dealing with this heartbreaking news.. rest easy Blake Escamilla we all got Anna Escamilla and Harlow”
