Makenzie Flowers, the woman reported missing from Colerain Township, was found dead Monday morning inside a vehicle partially submerged in a creek.
Police said the body of Flowers, 23, was discovered by her family in the 6100 block of Blue Rock Road. Reports from the scene indicate her car became submerged after missing a curve, hitting a wall and going airborne.
The vehicle landed on its top on a rock ledge in the creek, then slid into a pool of water several feet deep, police said.
The 911 caller who reported the accident indicated she was looking for her missing sister and said she believed she had found her car. source
It’s not clear how long the woman had been missing.
Police said speed is considered to be a factor in the crash.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends at this difficult time.
