The family of Madison Coe, the young Texas girl killed when she operated her cellphone while in the bathtub, has released a photo of her before her electrocution.
Police involved in the case also released the final text message sent from Coe’s phone. The accompanying photo was taken shortly before the tragic accident. The photo shows an extension cord plugged into a phone charger. The message was captioned “When you use and [sic] extension so you can plug your phone in while you’re in the bath.”

Coe, 14, sent the message on her cellphone before she was electrocuted while taking a bath. It is believed she took a photo, sent it with a text to a friend, moments before she died.
A report from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and the Lovington Police Department says Coe plugged her cell phone into an extension cord, which was plugged into a non-GFCI, non-grounded bathroom wall outlet. source
The report goes on to say the phone was never immersed in water.
