PICTURED: Mass Woman SHOT DEAD Suspect Lewis Starkey III In Custody

State police say they have arrested Lewis Starkey III over the slaying of 48-year-old Wendell, Mass., woman, Amanda Joy Glover.

Chicopee police said Starkey, 53, was taken into custody without incident Sunday morning after the red vehicle he was driving was stopped by police in Orange.

TheCount.com obtained the following photos of Glover, posted to her daughter’s public Facebook page.

Starkey is also accused of shooting at an employee of a trucking company in Chicopee. The employee was injured by shattered glass, but was not hit because the weapon malfunctioned.

Starkey was booked at the Orange Police Department and is expected to be held at the state police barracks in Athol.

A woman identifying herself as Glover’s daughter, wrote the following touching post to Facebook:

This. This is my beautiful mother. 12:45 on July 5th she was taken from this earth. Amanda Joy Glover was shot at age 48 by a man named Lew Starkey III. When my older brother tried to step in and help he got very badly hurt. But is alive and well. This man took my mom from me and he is still out there. Cops are still looking for him. I just want my mom. I just want to touch her one more time. She is so beautiful. She was so strong. She was the most amazing person on this planet. And I’m going to make sure that the asshole who took her from us will pay. Update: due to all the shares from this post and many others. Lew Starkey III has been arrested as of July 9th. Thank you all for being our eyes and ears!
