Atlanta Police say they responded to a “horrendous” stabbing involving four young children and a man, believed to be the father. In all, five people were discovered dead inside the home located in Loganville, a suburb in Atlanta, GA.
Gwinnett County police said another child was taken to a hospital with injuries they describe as serious. The children’s ages weren’t immediately available.

Authorities have detained a woman police describe as the mother. No charges have been announced.
