Mother and wife, Jill Lloyd, was killed after shots were fired at her car at an intersection in West Jordan on Wednesday morning.
Lloyd, 36, mother of two young children, was shot and killed by Andrew Larsen, 33, according to West Jordan police. A witness told reporters Larsen approached Lloyd with a shotgun at a West Jordan intersection.
The gunman was on the loose for most of the day before West Jordan police found him dead in Tooele County.
Around 8:15 a.m. police dispatch began getting multiple calls of a report of shots fired near 7800 S. Jaguar Drive (2700 W.).
Police say the suspect shot into a vehicle with the woman inside and killed the woman. The vehicle ended up running into a tree.
Some of the photos listed here were obtained on Lloyd’s public Facebook page.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends at this difficult time.
