Popular Rock Hill, SC., teenager, Quan Torbit, is dead and a woman injured after an evening shooting Sunday on Roddey Street, near Arcade Victoria Park. Torbit was known as a “rising senior” at South Pointe High School.
Officers responded to a call of shots fired around 6:15 p.m. after arriving police were then notified that a shooting victim had been driven to Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill in a private vehicle. That victim turned out to be Torbit, 18.

Investigators determined that two people were shot in the 200 block of Sunset Drive, not far away.
One of the victims died at the hospital. Police have not released his name but sources told Channel 9 that Quan Torbit, a rising senior at South Pointe High School, was killed.

A female suffered minor injuries from a gunshot wound, authorities said.
No arrests have been made and police have not released any other details surrounding the crime.
