VIA: Authorities have released a photograph of a woman who apparently fell out of a raft Wednesday into the Truckee River in the Verdi area.
Anyone who sees Sarah Duncan is asked to call 775-785-WCSO.
Washoe County Sheriff’s Office got the call about 3:30 p.m. June 21, 2017. Another person on the raft, plus witnesses, reported Duncan fell off somewhere in the area of Crystal Peak Park.
Search crews from Reno Fire and Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District are also part of the search.
Duncan is said to be about 6 feet tall.
Sheriff’s spokesman Bob Harmon said the search divided in two crews, with one searching from Crystal Paek Park to the River Bend area and a second starting at River Bend and going to Mayberry Park.
Washoe County Search and Rescue and the sheriff’s RAVEN helicopter also searched.
