Schuylkill County lawyer, Gary Marchalk, 60, was killed by his son, Michael David Marchalk, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest, according to a state police press release issued Tuesday evening.
State police say Marchalk, 37, of Barnesville, PA, is charged with criminal homicide, murder of the first degree, murder of the second degree, murder of the third degree, voluntary manslaughter, aggravated assault, robbery, theft, theft of a motor vehicle, access device fraud, and recklessly endangering another person. He was last seen driving his parent’s 2015 Gold Ford Fusion with the license plate number of JWD1566.

Gary Marchalk, 60, was found dead in his Ryan Township home at 21 Pear Street Monday around noon.
Marchalk was the estranged husband of Schuylkill County Treasurer Linda Marchalk, who investigators say was not living in the home.
Police have not said how Marchalk was killed. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
Attorney Marchalk received his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Widener University School of Law and his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the New York Institute of Technology.
Prior to opening his firm, Attorney Marchalk held positions as a legal administrator, corporate accounting manager and consumer and commercial loan officer, among others. He represented numerous clients before the Internal Revenue Service, Pennsylvania Department of Revenue and Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry and is also a Pennsylvania licensed title insurance agent, having conducted hundreds of residential and commercial real estate closings over the past several years.
He operated a general practice of law, performing services in the areas of family law, estate planning and administration, employment law, credit and collections law, corporate and partnership formation and planning, civil litigation, real estate law and transactions, criminal defense, motor vehicle citations, non-profit law, landlord/tenant law, taxation, personal injury, workers’ compensation, social security disability, and other miscellaneous areas of the law. source
