The Clark County Coroner identified the victim who was killed in a kitchen fire as Shaun Vega Jr. from Las Vegas. He was 28 years old.
Vega was killed after a flash fire on the stove burned his face and hands.
The fire happened around 1:45 a.m. Saturday at an apartment complex at 3333 North Michael Way, near Rancho Drive. Firefighters forced their way into an upstairs apartment and found the victim just inside the door unresponsive. The fire was quickly extinguished. h/t
