OK Pastor FOUND DEAD BODY BURNED Near Church

Chickasha, OK., police have announced Pastor Michael Dean Walworth‘s burned body was found near his church, officials said.

Walworth, 55, was found between the First Missionary Baptist Church and a nearby residence. Walworth was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.

The cause of Walworth’s death and how the body was burned is under investigation. The incident is believed to be isolated, officials said.

“The thoughts and prayers of the members of the Chickasha Police Department are with the family and friends of Pastor Michael Walworth during this most difficult time,” the Police Department said in a news release.
