Sheriff’s Deputies in Stark County, Ohio, are investigating the death of two people, and the attempted suicide of the alleged suspect in Beach City.
The victims have been identified as James Stockdale, 21, and Kathryn Stockdale, 54. James and his brothers comprise family musical group, The Stockdale Family Band, TheCount.com has learned. Mother, Kathy, and her family appeared on TV reality show, “Wife Swap.”

Deputies responded to a 911 hang up call made from the 9100 Block of Dolphin Street on Thursday afternoon. When they arrived just before 5:00 p.m., they found two people dead.
The alleged suspect, 25-year-old Jacob Stockdale (pictured above) suffered what deputies believe was a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was taken by lifeflight to Cleveland’s MetroHealth Medical Center.

“Fed up with city living and mass culture, Kathy and Tim Stockdale moved to Ohio to a 150-year-old farm to begin a new, wholesome life.
