Promising Kent State football player Tyler Heintz has died. Heintz was about to enter his freshman season as a Golden Flash.
According to a Twitter page belonging to his high school football program, Heintz died after a Tuesday workout.
“Shocked and bewildered is all we can say,” the account tweeted. “Pray for his family.”
“Kenton Football 2017 @Kenton_Football
What a great kid. Your football family will miss you”
Heintz was pictured signing his National Letter of Intent to play football at the University officially marking his departure from Kenton.
Our thoughts and prayers are with family and friends at this difficult time.
