Our friends over at TMZ are reporting the tragic news that Dr. Brandon Rogers has died in an auto accident. He was 29.
The singing doctor appeared as a contestant on an upcoming episode of popular talent contest, “America’s Got Talent.” The episode was scheduled to air in the coming weeks, TMZ reported.
“Sources close to the production told the gossip outlet that Dr. Rogers died over the weekend in a car accident. Brandon was a fantastic singer who was discovered by ‘AGT’ producers who saw him on Instagram covering the Boyz II Men’s hit song, “On Bended Knee.” The band even shouted him out on social media, asking fans if they thought they should bring him on tour with them. Sure enough … they did.”
On June 6th, Brandon celebrated the 2-year mark since becoming a doctor.
Brandon’s final Instagram entry was on June 8th, at 11:11 pm. The post depicted him and his best friend @paul4llen celebrating “#NationalBestFriendsDay.”
Sources told TMZ that AGT producers made the decision to go forward airing the episode featuring Dr. Rogers which is scheduled to be broadcast next month.
