Capital murder suspect Josh Miller was spotted near Laurel around 10:30 Saturday night, said Clarke County Sheriff Todd Kemp.

Miller is responsible for shooting Johnny Wayne James, 41, after the Stonewall Police Department responded to a 911 call about a man who had jumped or was pushed out of a vehicle traveling on Highland Avenue in Stonewall around 7 a.m. Saturday, according to Sheriff Todd Kemp.

Kemp says Joshua Allen Miller was spotted near Highway 11 and I-59. Investigators say the vehicle the suspect was last seen driving was found in a wooded area alongside I-59. Kemp says the vehicle appeared to have gotten stuck.

Miller is still believed to be in Jones County.

If you see Josh Miller call police immediately. Miller is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Authorities say Miller was traveling with James and another person when the shooting incident occurred. Investigators say Miller took the victim’s champagne colored 2007 Nissan Pathfinder. source
