Anthony Braddick Welsh was taken into custody on Tuesday night after surrendering on an unrelated warrant. Welsh was sought by police after he was witnessed riding his motorcycle on a public highway while his infant son straddled the fuel tank.
Two separate witnesses told Liberty County Sheriff’s Office investigators they observed Braddick riding the speeding motorcycle with his toddler son in tow on a highway in the Tarkington, TX., area.
Welsh was accompanied by an attorney at the time of his surrender.
The photo of Braddick with the child on the motorcycle was posted on social media and attracted plenty of attention. The man who uploaded the image says it was taken at an Exxon station near Tarkington High School in Liberty County. h/t
