VIA: Former Diablo Valley College Professor and alleged Antifa bike lock attacker Eric Clanton has reportedly been arrested on assault charges in Oakland, California.
According to The East Bay Times, Clanton, 28, is being held on $200,000 bail after being “arrested on suspicion of use of a firearm during a felony with an enhancement clause and assault with a non-firearm deadly weapon.”

It is not clear if Clanton’s charges are in connection to his alleged bike lock assault spree against Trump supporters – footage of which resulted in members of 4chan’s /pol/ launching an effort to identify the masked padlock attacker.
News of /pol/’s identification of Clanton as the attacker made headlines last month, with calls for his arrest emanating through social media.
All sorts of information was dug up on Clanton during that time, including his ironic position as an ethics educator.
Nonetheless, it reportedly wasn’t until yesterday that Clanton saw the inside of a jail cell. Despite the delay, many online are celebrating.
