VIA: Shanna Golyar has been found guilty in the love triangle murder of Cari Farver.
In closing arguments at trial, Deputy Douglas County Attorney Jim Masteller said: “This was a well-planned, well-executed scheme of the defendant to intercept Cari Farver, murder her, and dispose of her body.”
In his closing argument, Golyar’s defense attorney James Martin Davis said: “They’ve got all this circumstantial evidence, but it doesn’t show that my client took a knife and stabbed Cari Farver to death. And that’s what this case is all about.”
A judge announced the guilty verdict Wednesday morning.
