A woman was arrested Monday after she attempted to snatch away a young child while he was in his mother’s arms. The scary incident occurred in the crowded San Francisco Ferry Building.
Authorities said the attempted kidnapping took place at the height of the morning rush hour as commuters were streaming through the building from their ferries. A photo posted on sanfrancisco.cbslocal, shows an unidentified woman detained.
The intended victim is said to be a 2 or 3 year old male. The child was startled however otherwise unharmed.
