An 8-year-old girl, a student at Jupiter Elementary School, FL., is facing felony burglary charges after she was caught on surveillance video breaking into several cars in Palm Bay, FL., police say.
A victim of one of the burglaries showed police surveillance video of the break-in, according to a Palm Bay police arrest report.
Police were able to identify the girl on the video and officers spoke with her at Jupiter Elementary School, where the girl is a student. The girl told police she was walking from a park with two older children when they decided to break into cars. h/t
Police said the children committed four burglaries.
The girl was arrested and charged with burglary to a conveyance and attempted theft.
