Patrick Mahomes II, quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, was robbed at gunpoint, say the Smith County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence located at 8800 block of Mansion Creek Circle in reference to an Aggravated Robbery when upon arrival deputies met with four individuals who stated that they had been robbed by a white male suspect who they believed to be armed with a handgun. One of the individuals robbed was Mr. Patrick Mahomes II.
As the victims were exiting their vehicle, the suspect pulled into the driveway and exited his vehicle. As the suspect approached the victims, he was seen gesturing as if he had a handgun in his waistband. The suspect then demanded property from the victims. The suspect fled the location in his vehicle. After deputies arrived and spoke with the victims they were able to locate the suspect vehicle which was occupied by two males. A stop of the vehicle was performed near County Road 273 and Malisa Circle. Two suspects were taken into custody. Property taken during the robbery was recovered from the suspect’s vehicle. h/t
Suspects Michael Blake Pinkerton, white male, 34 years of age, and Billy Ray Johnson, black male, 58 years of age, were arrested and transported to the Smith County Jail. No one was injured during the commission of this offense. The investigation is active and ongoing.
