People get fooled by phony pictures on the internet all the time, but what if the person getting fooled, is a high-profile news chief?
Jeff Stein, Newsweek’s national security reporter, shared a picture of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and soon-to-be ousted, White House staffer Sebastian Gorka, holding Nazi books captioned, “No doubt Flynn and Gorka thought this photo was funny when they took it.”
The problem is, as you can see below, the meme is doctored to change the book covers from something innocuous to something much more dubious.
