Via Fox5Vegas: A marked Las Vegas Metro Police car struck a pedestrian Saturday night in the southeast Valley.
According to police, the crash occurred at the 5100 block of Boulder Highway near Nellis Boulevard at 8:50 p.m.
The pedestrian was struck by the Metro vehicle and was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to Metro Lt. Carlos Hank.
Metro’s Fatal Detail is investigating the crash.
It is unknown at this time whether the pedestrian was in a marked crosswalk.
Southbound lanes on Boulder Highway are closed at south Nellis Boulevard.
