Golden State Warriors star center, Andrew Bogut, was carried off court after suffering what appeared to be a serious knee injury during the third quarter of Game 5 on Monday.
Bogut was in the process of blocking a J.R. Smith layup when the two players collided. Smith struck Bogut’s left knee forcing an awkward landing.
Bogut, reeling in pain, lay on court clutching his knee as play continued. Mercifully, the play was finally blown dead as Warriors personnel rushed to attend to the center.
Bogut was assisted to the locker room, obviously careful not to put any weight on his left leg.
