Jolene Kay Martinez, the younger sister of Duane “Dog The Bounty Hunter” Chapman, died unexpectedly Monday night. She was 62.
Martinez reportedly died from complications of pneumonia and was ordered removed from life support by family members.
“I am absolutely positively sure she’s in heaven right now,” said Chapman. “But in Hawaii we don’t say ‘goodbye,’ we say ‘aloha oe until we meet again,’ and I know I will see my sister again, which gives all of us some comfort at this very sad time.” Chapman and his wife Beth, currently starring in A&E’s Dog the Bounty Hunter and CMT’s Dog and Beth: On The Hunt, are flying from Hawaii to Denver, Colorado where she lived to arrange her services. h/t hawaiinewsnow
Martinez is survived by her two children and three siblings.
