All four members of British band Viola Beach were killed in a car accident early Saturday morning. The crash also took the life of their manager.
Viola Beach was in Sweden for the Where is the Music? festival on Friday when a vehicle they were traveling in veered off the highway and fell 82 feet into a ravine.
Kris Leonard, River Reeves, Tomas Lowe and Jack Dakin and their manager Craig Tarry were all killed in the crash. While there was speculation that the driver was intoxicated before the accident, we’re hearing that Craig was actually sober — it was simply an accident. Fans are honoring the late Brits by downloading their debut single Swings & Waterslides and it is currently at No. 3 on the Indie charts. h/t perezhilton
