If you’re wondering if you can watch the 58th annual Grammy awards on the internet this evening, you’re not alone. While most will be viewing music’s biggest night on their local CBS affiliate, some would rather watch using their phones, tablets, web browsers, or set-top boxes.
The trophies will begin to be dispersed at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, and if you’re interested in tuning in via the Internet, here’s how:
- Stream live via CBS.com or CBS All Access (which is a subscription service, but you can sign up for a free 1-week trial, which should get you through tonight.)
- Stream live through the CBS app for iPhone and iPad, or for Android
- Stream live via the CBS app for Roku, for Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, for Apple TV (in the tvOS Store), for Android TV and Chromecast, and for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One h/t lifehacker
CBS often streams these programs free, but in order to get the Grammys through any of their apps, you’ll need to sign up for CBS All Access. It’s normally $6/mo, but the one-week free trial will get you through tonight. Just remember to cancel before the free trial expires.
