A man is in critical condition after setting himself on fire inside Rockford restaurant, Da Catch Fish & Chicken.
Police say the unidentified man soaked himself in gasoline at a nearby Quick Mart and then set himself on fire while inside the eatery.
It happened around 6:15 Friday night at Da Catch in the 3000 block of Rockton Avenue in Rockford. Police say the man soaked himself in gasoline with one of the pumps at the nearby Quick Mart before walking into the restaurant and lighting himself on fire. h/t wifr
The man reportedly gave no reason before setting himself ablaze. The incident is still under investigation.
