Cyber Monday is supposed to lessen the hassle of standing in long lines, like shoppers do on Black Friday, but for Target.com shoppers, the nightmare has only begun.

If you’re rushing to Target.com to grab one of those great deals, cool your heals, because you’ll likely get a message that the website is down due to “high traffic.”

Target.com says, “So sorry, but high traffic’s causing delays. If you wouldn’t mind holding, we’ll refresh automatically & get things going ASAP.”

It also thanks users for their patience.
