Late in the BroncosColts game, Denver’s Aqib Talib got caught on replay cameras intentionally poking Dwayne Allen in the eye. The ‘poke’ heard around the world sent Allen reeling in pain while costing the Broncos a shot at getting the ball back in the final minutes of play.

It was the 4th quarter and Indianapolis was leading 27-24, Colts ball in a third down situation with just over 2:00 left to play. And that’s when Talib decided to pull a classic Three Stooges move on Allen, sticking two fingers through his mask and directly in his eye.

Refs threw the yellow flag, calling Talib for a personal foul which then gave the Colts an automatic first down. Andrew Luck was able to work the clock leaving Peyton Manning three yard shy of surpassing Brett Favre for all-time career passing yards. Ouch.

Talib is said to expect to be contacted by the league office within the week to receive his prize, a hefty fine for the cheap shot.
