On Tuesday morning, Twitter pulled a fast one, changing their “favorite” star to a heart-shaped icon called “likes.” Since then Twitter users have been freaking out. But calm down, a fix is already available.
A Google Chrome extension has been released that promises to bring your beloved stars on Twitter.
The simple Chrome extension, pointed out by Product Hunt, was created by Brooklyn-based developer Reed Kavner. Once the extension is installed, tweets on Twitter’s website will show stars that say “favorite,” rather than hearts that say “like.” “On November 3, 2015, the lives of millions of Twitter users were forever changed,” its description on the Chrome Web Store reads. “Where yesterday there were stars, today there are hearts. Fav Forever brings the stars back.” h/t mashable
Visit the Chrome Web Store and install the extension that will change the hearts back to stars on Twitter’s website.
