It was a nice break from all the jaded, cynical take-ourselves-too-seriously shows that preceded and proceeded it. Don’t get me wrong, I love those shows as well, but those pretty much constitute the entirety of the main day/evening programs, and it’s nice to have something a little more light-hearted to break up the monotony… however, the ratings would indicate that the majority of listeners to the station are the jaded, cynical take-ourselves-too-seriously type that enjoy that kind of monotony. Oh, well… I do hope the two better luck elsewhere.

I probably only read about a couple hundred comments on various subjects a month . . . most can be scanned in a few seconds . . . yours, however, stood out for its microaggression diatribe towards Thompson and Espinsosa (could have been anybody) . . . so the fact that I took the time to respond (first one in several months) I guess says something about your ability to irritate.

However, you might want to try cutting down on your cynicism as thoughts lead to seemingly safe internet rants which then creep into body language and lax verbalization filtering. This results in lost social and business opportunities which, unbeknownst to the cynic, don’t materialize.

Oh sure. Typical, moronic response. I am wrong for not liking those two dolts and you slam me for stating why. But I am wrong because you have some closeted crush on Elizabeth. Sorry, she jumped from tv to radio and she won’t be going back. Sorry it hurt your warm, fuzzy, feelings that you hold for her. But bottom line, she sucked and the ratings showed it. A better time slot? Are you kidding? When they lost John and Ken years back and replaced them with the two queens, the ratings got even worse. No matter what Thompson and her do, ratings go down. They leave and two newbies get better ratings. Facts are facts. But hey, thank you for doing a drive by and stating you hate my bias by being bias yourself. Bravo.

I just read your rant on the Thompson and Espinosa show . . . wow, what would you say if it were something really important that you didn’t like . . . reading between the lines of your rambling drivel it appears that you have a personal vendetta against the show, especially as it relates to the pleasing voice of Elizabeth Espinosa . . . oh well, she will land on her feet somewhere . . . and with her attractive looks, probably in television . . . if KFI had put Thompson and Espinosa in a better time slot, they would still be on KFI today . . . even Bill Handel’s ratings would be much less than they presently are if his (morning) show were to be regulated to that difficult time slot.
