Joan Collins commented for the first time since the passing of her sister, novelist, Jackie Collins. Jackie was 77.
Joan paid a special tribute to her sister on Twitter.
“Farewell to my beautiful brave baby sister,” Joan wrote on Twitter, alongside a photo of herself as a young child and Jackie as a toddler. “I will love you and miss you forever. Rest in peace.” Joan told reporters she was “completely devastated” by her sister’s death, adding, “She was my best friend. I admire how she handled this. She was a wonderful, brave and a beautiful person and I love her.” h/t e!
Jackie was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer more than six years ago and revealed her illness to Joan only earlier this month, saying she did not want to burden her, People magazine reported.
