John “Dickie” Moore, the child star best known for his work on the popular series of films, “Our Gang, aka, Little Rascals” has died. He was 89.
Moore is survived by his wife and four children.
Moore’s film debut was in in “The Beloved Rogue,” in which he portrayed John Barrymore as an infant. He was known onscreen as “Dickie” Moore and appeared in more than 100 films and television episodes. He worked for two years on the “Our Gang/Little Rascals” series. Other credits include “The Blonde Venus” (as Marlene Dietrich’s son), “Million Dollar Legs” with W.C. Fields, “Peter Ibbetson” as young Gary Cooper and “Out of The Past” with Robert Mitchum. h/t variety.
Moore was also the husband of movie star Jane Powell.
