Man Charged In Rosie O’Donnell Daughter’s Disappearance

Rosie O’Donnell‘s lost and found 17-year-old daughter, Chelsea, was eventually located with known heroin dealer, Steven M Sheerer, at his home in Barnegat, NJ.

Now Sheerer is facing some serious jail time after being charged in connection to her disappearance. He was arrested and is currently being held on a $40,000 bail.

Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph Coronato says his office was given permission by Rosie to check her daughter’s cellphone. He says that on the phone there was “evidence of inappropriate communications over the last several weeks between Sheerer and the minor.” Sheerer was arrested at his home last night and charged with 3rd degree endangering the welfare of a child and 3rd degree distribution of obscenity to a minor. If found guilty, Sheerer could spend 5 years in prison.
