Thieves Use SLEEPING GAS To Rob Formula One Jenson Button And Wife At Home

Formula One champ, Jenson Button and his wife Jessica Michibata were robbed at their luxury French villa after robbers pumped sleeping gas into the house through outside air conditioning vents.

As the couple lay unconscious, a result of anaesthetic gas, the brash burglars rifled through the St Tropez home, taking items including Jessica’s half-million dollar engagement ring.

French police believe the gang had been watching the villa for days before letting off a cannister of anaesthetic gas into an air-conditioning vent. The raiders then broke into the luxury mansion and even walked around the couple’s bed. Three friends who were staying in the rented retreat are also believed to have been rendered unconscious. h/t dailymail

The couple, who had been staying at the rented property with three friends, only discovered they had been robbed after waking up with one hell of a headache the next morning. They soon realised the house had been ransacked.
