The mistress of former NFL player, Buster Barnett, Lisa Brown, allegedly kidnapped his wife and then killed her finally killing herself, following high-speed pursuit, Georgia police said Friday.
Clayton County police allege that Brown, of Lithonia, Georgia, kidnapped Sandra Barnett, of Ellenwood, Georgia, from her home Wednesday, according to local reports.
Sandra, 58, is the wife of Buster Barnett, who played for the Buffalo Bills in the ’80s. “Sandra was actually on the telephone with a friend when Lisa showed up at the front door,” Capt. Richard Gandee said. h/t people
Police also allege that Brown, 49, had purchased handcuffs before the abduction.
Brown was the subject of an Amber Alert two years ago after abducting the couple’s 12-year-old daughter.
