A body located close to a Palm Desert hotel may be that of missing Los Angeles executive, Omar Arce Meza, who went missing one week ago.
Police are working to identify the remains. Meza, 33, was last seen riding in an Uber car.
Omar Arce Meza, 33, a vice president with AIG Financial Distributors, was last seen at the JW Marriott Desert Springs in Palm Desert around 11 p.m. Jan. 8, officials said. Meza missed scheduled business meetings the following day. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said about 4:30 p.m. Thursday the body was found in the 74800 block of Country Club — the same block as the JW Marriott. Authorities have not identified the body. h/t nbclosangeles
A rep for AIG said the company is working with authorities and their thoughts are with family and friends.
