Oakland Police arrested Carl Dubois in Elk Grove, over a road rage shooting that killed Oakland mother, Perla Avina.
Avina, 30, was a traveling in a vehicle when she was shot dead Sunday afternoon on 98th Avenue.
Authorities recovered the firearm used in the shooting while conducting a search of the location where Dubois, 30, was staying in Elk Grove.
Police say there is no connection between Dubois and Avina. There are no other suspects being sought.
