Former MLB star Jose Canseco blew his middle finger clean off his hand while cleaning a handgun in his home.
Canseco, 50, is reportedly in surgery right and doctors are trying to save what’s left of his finger. His fiancée says the bullet tore through the bottom part of the finger and doctors have already said it will never be fully functional again.
Fiancée Leila Knight said Canseco was sitting at a table in their Las Vegas home cleaning the gun when it suddenly fired.
