Residents in Houston area neighborhoods are on edge after learning a rash of cat deaths may be the result of a serial kitty killer..
It took ten years for residents to connect the dots, but now they are convinced someone has been murdering their feline friends.
The most recent case was discovered last Friday.
“Our cat had obviously been murdered,” said owner Chris Elliott. “It was cut in two pieces”
Chris and Kimberly Elliott woke up Friday morning to find half of the cat on their porch and the other half missing.
“I couldn’t believe that that was my cat you know,” said Kimberly Elliott. “I mean it was anything but my cat and a bad dream I was going to wake up from. It wasn’t sinking in. I was in pure shock” h/t khou
The Elliott’s were shocked once again to hear that their cat is one of a dozen killed in and around Timbergrove and Lazybrook, near the Heights, since 2008.
