Fox football analyst and former QB, Terry Bradshaw will be absent from his hosting duties today, flying home to be with his family after his son-in-law, Rob Bironas died in a crash last night.
Bradshaw’s daughter Rachel had only been married to Bironas since June.
Bironas, who served nine seasons as a kicker for the Tennessee Titans, died after he lost control of his pickup truck Saturday night. He was 36.
Fox issued a statement about the absence, explaining that the former Pittsburgh Steelers legend “flew home to take care of his family.”
During their pre-game coverage Sunday, broadcasters on both Fox and CBS offered their condolences to Bradshaw and his family.
In a statement on the department website, Metro Nashville Police said his SUV was speeding when it went off the road and hit a line of trees before coming to a stop upside down in a culvert. source
