There is a developing emergency situation as four buildings at Western Connecticut State University’s main campus in Danbury have been evacuated and placed on lockdown after an emailed bomb threat.
The threat on campus has necessitated the evacuation of several buildings.
The Midtown Student Center and Haas Library remain evacuated and locked down.
At this time, Newbury Hall and University Hall have been cleared and may be reoccupied.
You will see increased police presence on campus. Alternate areas may be secured as necessary. Updates will follow as more info is available
