A 15-foot-high temporary construction wall came down in a corridor area in a customer thoroughfare, injuring eight people at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa.
The temporary sheetrock and wood wall was placed a few weeks ago to separate the existing casino from a construction zone in an area designed for a future high limit slots area.
Three people were transported to area hospitals for treatment, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue said. One man suffered a broken arm, said Gary Bitner, a Seminole Tribe Police Department spokesman, while some people were treated at the scene. source
