Comedienne Joan Rivers was rushed to a NYC hospital after an apparent cardiac arrest.
Rivers, 81, was visiting a clinic undergoing a throat procedure on her vocal chords when she stopped breathing.
A 911 call indicated, “We have somebody in either cardiac or respiratory arrest.” source
